This project is an exploration of light and movement, especially the movement within a patch of light and the movement of my body. It is a collecting of what has been the most striking to me over a period of several months of daily wandering. The projections are super 8 films of patches of light that I sat with on my walks in Texas and in Paris. The books of embroidered fabric and the hanging piece are mappings of every walk that I have taken over the past year. The empty boxes serve to hold the experience of these walks and this wandering that cannot be materialized. Just as the walks engaged my whole body, making the films, embroideries, and sculptures engaged my hands. This process and this work has been about gathering and sharing internal experiences that I hold quite close to my heart.
